Hamilton Court

Hamilton Court combines 70 row houses with the Hamilton Court Apartments at the southern end of the block. The row houses form perimeter groups around three interior garden courts, while the apartment complex encloses a fourth landscaped courtyard.

Through-block paths connect the gardens and divide the long rows into smaller groups, while a wider service driveway provides access behind the homes. Hamilton Court is especially significant because its residents extended the original open-space easements. When the LPC documented the court in 2007, all three row-house garden courts remained intact.
