Type H is a rare three-bay composition that combines an enclosed entry porch, a single window and a much larger paired or projecting window group. The second floor carries the small-and-large window relationship upward.
The clapboard-clad porch historically shared a hipped, slate-shingled roof with the entrance of the neighboring house. Type H′ is the mirrored version.
